Spectators: 6394 (Terracing: 5394, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Carlos Monico started the match with the kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Fidel Ponciano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piquete FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fidel Ponciano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 8 minutes into the match, Legion FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fidel Ponciano came free, but Gogo Nerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 12 minutes, Eleuterio Sanson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Legion FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eleuterio Sanson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Legion FC's Gogo Nerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Ponciano in the 15th minute of play. Horacio Rufio kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. David Rodriguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Monico in the 19th minute of play. Timoteo Ortle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gogo Nerio having to interfere. Gogo Nerio made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Timoteo Ortle sent off a good shot on target. Timoteo Ortle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gogo Nerio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Fidel Ponciano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Virgilio Mercurio charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Virgilio Mercurio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 43 played minutes Piquete FC got a freekick which was hit by Virgilio Mercurio. In the 44th minute, Eleuterio Sanson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fidel Ponciano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gogo Nerio having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fidel Ponciano made a kick off. Gogo Nerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timoteo Ortle in the 53rd minute of play. Timoteo Ortle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gogo Nerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidel Ponciano in the 57th minute of the match. The supporters of Piquete FC booed when Legion FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Monico didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Fidel Ponciano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Piquete FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fidel Ponciano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gogo Nerio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fidel Ponciano might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gogo Nerio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fidel Ponciano ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Piquete FC defense, Eleuterio Sanson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Rodriguez. The Piquete FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Rodriguez should have stopped the shot. Fidel Ponciano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Gogo Nerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gogo Nerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timoteo Ortle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Legion FC's Edgardo Calvino shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 79th minute of play. The shot was stopped by David Rodriguez but with some difficulty. Timoteo Ortle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gogo Nerio having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cayetano Jorrin during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cayetano Jorrin kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Gogo Nerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fidel Ponciano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Timoteo Ortle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gogo Nerio having to interfere. When Fidel Ponciano came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Piquete FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fidel Ponciano couldn't finish the play. Fidel Ponciano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Gogo Nerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gogo Nerio came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Piquete FC's Timoteo Ortle. But to his dismay, Timoteo Ortle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Piquete FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Legion FC to leave the ground with a draw.
