Filomeno Fonso's late challenge caught a Mojigasta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filomeno Fonso helped the player get up and apologised. After 13 played minutes Mojigasta got a freekick which was hit by Astor Raulo. When Zacarias Giro fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mojigasta's protests and gave Zacarias Giro a yellow card for diving instead. After 15 played minutes Mojigasta got a freekick which was hit by Zacarias Giro. After 19 minutes, Luciano Jesco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Molinari and the Mojigasta players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luciano Jesco kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Molinari defense, Fausto Oihenarte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Serafin Iratxo. The Molinari fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Serafin Iratxo should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Molinari's zone, Pablo Fresco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serafin Iratxo came out of the goal and Pablo Fresco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Serafin Iratxo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Oihenarte in the 27th minute of play. Octavio Procopio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Gustavo Orti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luciano Jesco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustavo Orti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luciano Jesco's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Gustavo Orti made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Octavio Procopio sent off a good shot on target. Serafin Iratxo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Fresco in the 40th minute of the match. Fausto Oihenarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luciano Jesco might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gustavo Orti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luciano Jesco ran back to his position shaking his head. 46 minutes into the match, Molinari's Octavio Procopio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gustavo Orti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Benicio Ruisko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Molinari's supporters rose to their feet, but Benicio Ruisko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustavo Orti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Mojigasta were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Luciano Jesco made the kick off in the second half. Pablo Fresco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 60 minutes into the game, Federico Loramendi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mojigasta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Molinari the free kick. Federico Loramendi kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Octavio Procopio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gustavo Orti. Mojigasta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Octavio Procopio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 65 minutes into the match, Mojigasta's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Jesco came free, but Gustavo Orti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Octavio Procopio scored 2-1 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gustavo Orti, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Octavio Procopio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zacarias Giro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fausto Oihenarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serafin Iratxo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Fresco in the 79th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Molinari's Joaquin Vachon got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Pablo Fresco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Serafin Iratxo having to make a save. Benicio Ruisko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Octavio Procopio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Gustavo Orti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zacarias Giro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafin Iratxo having to interfere. Mojigasta's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
