After a rather tough play, Chinguillos's Feliciano Palben got a free kick in the 6th minute. After having played for 14 minutes, Mariano Peio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chinguillos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Peio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Federico Veronica stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Esteve Quentin's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Norberto Harkaitz's late challenge caught a Chinguillos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Norberto Harkaitz helped the player get up and apologised. Mariano Peio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geronimo Perico in the 21st minute of play forced Chinguillos's goalkeeper Ramiro Abarca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of San Fulgencio booed when Chinguillos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santiago Cristos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Federico Veronica made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Peio in the 26th minute. Santiago Cristos scored 1-0 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Federico Veronica, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Esteve Quentin in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Federico Veronica prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Federico Veronica made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Mariano Peio sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Esteve Quentin in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Federico Veronica saved San Fulgencio from getting behind. Federico Veronica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteve Quentin in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 79th match minute, San Fulgencio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norberto Harkaitz to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute Mariano Peio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Veronica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 83 minutes, Mariano Peio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mariano Peio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Veronica having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Esteve Quentin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Federico Veronica. San Fulgencio's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Esteve Quentin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Chinguillos walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
