The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Buo club's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Ugutz came free, but Israel Sadurni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Deportivo Urquiza's goalkeeper Carolo Felipo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teodoro Valerio. If Rolando Ugutz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 45th minute, Benicio Mendez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 48 minutes Buo club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. Despite this Israel Sadurni quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Damaso Ramirez to make the kick off. Fulgencio Ongile charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fulgencio Ongile the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Deportivo Urquiza booed when Buo club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulgencio Ongile didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Deportivo Urquiza's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Valerio came free, but Carolo Felipo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Rolando Ugutz came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Deportivo Urquiza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rolando Ugutz couldn't finish the play. Rolando Ugutz might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Israel Sadurni. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rolando Ugutz ran back to his position shaking his head. Israel Sadurni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rolando Ugutz in the 82nd minute. If Teodoro Valerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nereo Evangelista blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carolo Felipo having to make a save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel.
