The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 12 minutes into the game, Cholila AFC's Everardo Lawrence nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Virgilio Cebrian made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Gaudencio Chesus put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gervasio Arias. In the 27th match minute, Cholila AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danilo Txindoki to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Bakar in the 29th minute of play forced Cholila AFC's goalkeeper Gervasio Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Elias Errapel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cholila AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panqueua the free kick. After a rather tough play, Cholila AFC's Elias Errapel got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Gervasio Arias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Bakar in the 35th minute of play. Francisco Bakar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Everardo Lawrence made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Panqueua's zone, Anier Aballe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Virgilio Cebrian came out of the goal and Anier Aballe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Panqueua's Virgilio Cebrian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everardo Lawrence in the 53rd minute of play. Virgilio Cebrian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everardo Lawrence in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th match minute, Panqueua was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Pacho to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Pacho kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Francisco Bakar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Panqueua's Francisco Bakar, in the 73rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Panqueua. After 76 played minutes Cholila AFC got a freekick which was hit by Elias Errapel. Virgilio Cebrian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Everardo Lawrence in the 79th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Panqueua's goal looked a bit too open when Everardo Lawrence came free, but Virgilio Cebrian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Francisco Bakar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gervasio Arias. Cholila AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Francisco Bakar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The supporters of Panqueua booed when Cholila AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ceferino Tartalo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisco Bakar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Gervasio Arias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th play minute Gaudencio Chesus came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gervasio Arias. 2-3. Gervasio Arias was a little too slow when Domingo Mikeldi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 2-4.
