He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Alados reached it. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leopoldo Quinteros to make the kick off. After 71 minutes of play, San Fulgencio's Andres Franco made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Romeo Weterio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ciriaco Cordaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Federico Veronica made a huge save. After 85 minutes, Nestor Eudoxio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alados and the San Fulgencio players grew even worse after the yellow card. Romeo Weterio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Epifanio Fix's late challenge caught a San Fulgencio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Epifanio Fix helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Alados fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 96th minute. Penalty! In the 98th minute there was a penalty for San Fulgencio. Melquiades Senon stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Romeo Weterio. 2-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Alados players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for San Fulgencio.
