Isaias Txurio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Errapel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hermengildo Lauro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Saturnino Barea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gervasio Arias was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. In the 29th minute, Hermengildo Lauro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Isaias Txurio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anier Aballe in the 32nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Saturnino Barea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chinguillos's supporters rose to their feet, but Saturnino Barea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gervasio Arias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hermengildo Lauro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chinguillos's Hermengildo Lauro got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isaias Txurio acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 43rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Oscar Lopes. Hermengildo Lauro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Gervasio Arias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anier Aballe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Saturnino Barea was the one to do the kick off. Isaias Txurio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Everardo Lawrence's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Everardo Lawrence recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hermengildo Lauro came free with the goalkeeper in the 58th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gervasio Arias could save by the left post. Saturnino Barea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Cholila AFC's zone, Saturnino Barea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gervasio Arias came out of the goal and Saturnino Barea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67th minute, Elias Errapel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gervasio Arias made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Hermengildo Lauro sent off a good shot on target. In the 71stth minute of the game Saturnino Barea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cholila AFC's Gervasio Arias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 72nd match minute, Chinguillos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfredo Castel to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the match, Cholila AFC's Anier Aballe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isaias Txurio narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
