In the 45th minute Geronimo Perico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Arias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gervasio Arias didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Geronimo Perico went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Everardo Lawrence made a kick off. Everardo Lawrence's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Federico Veronica read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play.
