An unexpectedly hard shot by Severiano Senin in the 5th minute of play forced Carapato's goalkeeper Alvaro Bernebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute Ildefonso Gaueko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salvador Distiratsu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to C.F.C 1993 getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Martin Galindo hit a great ball. Severiano Senin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carapato's Alvaro Bernebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severiano Senin in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Filiberto Cruz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Severiano Senin was extremely unlucky when he, in the 45th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Filiberto Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nereo Caetano to strike the kick off in the second half. Nereo Caetano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Salvador Distiratsu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. C.F.C 1993's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Serafin Chale scored to the left of an out of position Salvador Distiratsu, making the score, 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ildefonso Gaueko got free with Salvador Distiratsu in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gogo Pelagius was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 67 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute there was a penalty for C.F.C 1993. Victoriano Aritza stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alvaro Bernebe. 2-1. Serafin Chale hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match.
