Nereo Fidele yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After a rather tough play, COLON SFFC's Jimeno Curcio got a free kick in the 15th minute. Federico Lekubegi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Laurendi in the 17th minute of play. Tadeo Birjaio kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Severino Deunoro charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Severino Deunoro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Federico Lekubegi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Cordaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Nereo Fidele managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when COLON SFFC's Severino Deunoro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience was convinced that Severino Deunoro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nereo Fidele was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Severino Deunoro to strike the kick off in the second half. Federico Lekubegi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Laurendi in the 52nd minute of play. Castelar's Nereo Fidele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Deunoro in the 80th minute of play. In the 85th minute of the match Jimeno Curcio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nereo Fidele showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Severino Deunoro struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Nereo Fidele didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for COLON SFFC. There was no doubt that COLON SFFC were the better team. COLON SFFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
