Federico Lekubegi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elvio Tajo, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. COLON SFFC's Federico Lekubegi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save COLON SFFC from getting a goal against them. In the 19th match minute, COLON SFFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Aballe to maneuver through the defense. Danilo Ponc hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Conrado Aballe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victoriano Petri's late challenge caught a Húsares FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victoriano Petri helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35th match minute, COLON SFFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victoriano Petri to maneuver through the defense. After 36 played minutes, Húsares FC's Baldomero Su shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Federico Lekubegi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Húsares FC reached it. Severino Deunoro might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luisito Lorenz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Severino Deunoro ran back to his position shaking his head. When Severino Deunoro came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the COLON SFFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severino Deunoro couldn't finish the play.

When Danilo Ponc was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 51 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Húsares FC's Danilo Ponc got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Severino Deunoro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the COLON SFFC defense, Adrian Perez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Federico Lekubegi. The COLON SFFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Federico Lekubegi should have stopped the shot. After 59 played minutes Húsares FC got a freekick which was hit by Prospero Berdaitz. After 65 played minutes Severino Deunoro rounded Húsares FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-2. In the 68th minute, Severino Deunoro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luisito Lorenz. The goal made the score 2-3. With his leg Luisito Lorenz managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when COLON SFFC's Severino Deunoro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 73rd minute, Prospero Berdaitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Haroldo Francho charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The audience was convinced that Severino Deunoro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luisito Lorenz was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. The Húsares FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. COLON SFFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
