The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Prospero Berdaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zachariasz Gondela got free with Luisito Lorenz in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elvio Tajo scored 0-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angelo Cordara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zachariasz Gondela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Luisito Lorenz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 36 minutes, Zachariasz Gondela managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chudix's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zachariasz Gondela was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gregorio Modestio struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Luisito Lorenz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chudix. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cayetano Cerilo during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Húsares FC's Cayetano Cerilo got a free kick in the 40th minute. When Gregorio Modestio came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Chudix fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gregorio Modestio couldn't finish the play. Zachariasz Gondela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Lorenz having to interfere. With a little luck, Húsares FC's Luisito Lorenz got control of the ball when Gregorio Modestio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

52 minutes into the match, Elvio Tajo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Angelo Cordara, 0-2. Zachariasz Gondela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Lorenz having to interfere. Candido Gaitano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th minute, Gregorio Modestio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chudix fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 82nd minute, Elvio Tajo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Húsares FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Chudix's much stronger midfield.
