In the 6th match minute, Nikizanga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zacarias Esiquio to maneuver through the defense. After 10 played minutes VAC Zollner got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Tavio. Lisandro Quinten scored 0-2 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rene Ramone, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eustaquio Viator made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcelo Tavio in the 24th minute. Jesus Rubio struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Rene Ramone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nikizanga. 33 minutes into the match, VAC Zollner's goal looked a bit too open when Lisandro Quinten came free, but Rene Ramone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, VAC Zollner's Apolo Jorrin got a free kick in the 34th minute. Lisandro Quinten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Apolo Jorrin struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Eustaquio Viator didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VAC Zollner. After a defensive mix-up in Nikizanga's zone, Marcelo Tavio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eustaquio Viator came out of the goal and Marcelo Tavio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelo Tavio got free with Eustaquio Viator in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half Nikizanga were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Marcelo Tavio made the kick off in the second half. Bonifacio Bermund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Vinicio Beltza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcelo Tavio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Apolo Jorrin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcelo Tavio might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eustaquio Viator. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcelo Tavio ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Marcelo Tavio managed to get in a good position for a shot. VAC Zollner's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelo Tavio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eustaquio Viator breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Nikizanga defense, Marcelo Tavio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eustaquio Viator. The Nikizanga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eustaquio Viator should have stopped the shot. Marcelo Tavio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lisandro Quinten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rene Ramone having to interfere. A collision led to VAC Zollner getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Marcelo Tavio hit a great ball. When Jesus Rubio in the 76th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Rene Ramone kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-3 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Marcelo Tavio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, Marcelo Tavio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Nikizanga's goalkeeper Eustaquio Viator, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lisandro Quinten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcelo Tavio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Eustaquio Viator tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, VAC Zollner's goal looked a bit too open when Jesus Rubio came free, but Rene Ramone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The VAC Zollner manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Nikizanga to win.
