Spectators: 7175 (Terracing: 5383, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 142) VAC Zollner's Marcelo Tavio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 played minutes VAC Zollner got a freekick which was hit by Benito Fresco. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolo Domenec in the 16th minute of play forced VAC Zollner's goalkeeper Rene Ramone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rene Ramone came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Otero FC's Florencio Feo. But to his dismay, Florencio Feo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The audience was convinced that Natalio Argenis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rene Ramone was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Rene Ramone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florencio Feo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute, Remigio Gutierrez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rene Ramone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natalio Argenis in the 33rd minute of play. Apolo Jorrin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Erasmo Montrel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcelo Tavio was extremely unlucky when he, in the 41st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 42nd minute, Marcelo Tavio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcelo Tavio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erasmo Montrel having to make a save. In the 46th minute Marcelo Tavio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Montrel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Natalio Argenis to make the kick off. VAC Zollner's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Otero FC the free kick. Bartolo Gai hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
