In the 12th match minute, Otero FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geronimo Silviano to maneuver through the defense. Florencio Vincente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Florencio Vincente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Erasmo Montrel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Natalio Argenis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Natalio Argenis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cosme Loreto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play.

51 minutes into the game, Ismael Gasteiz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. River Plate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Otero FC the free kick. In the 51st match minute, River Plate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Gasteiz to maneuver through the defense. Natalio Argenis struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Cosme Loreto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Otero FC. Cosme Loreto came out of the goal and Natalio Argenis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th minute of the match Dario Quexal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erasmo Montrel skillfully saved the ball. In the 63rd minute, Natalio Argenis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. River Plate's defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when Natalio Argenis scored to the left of an out of position Cosme Loreto, making the score, 1-1. If Florencio Vincente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Natalio Giraldo during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 91 played minutes River Plate got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Sesuldo. 92 minutes into the match, River Plate's goalkeeper Cosme Loreto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guido Gaizkine.
