Bacardi AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 17 minutes of play, Bacardi AFC's Adolfo Mambru made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elpidio Amato was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Bacardi AFC's zone, Fermin Hanot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feliberto Marin came out of the goal and Fermin Hanot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elpidio Amato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeo Abascal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bacardi AFC's Feliberto Marin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmacio Jaunti in the 45th minute of play. The Estrugamou FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bacardi AFC were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Romeo Abascal was the one to do the kick off. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bacardi AFC's goalkeeper Feliberto Marin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fermin Hanot's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Feliberto Marin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play.
