Desiderio Manilan ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 10th match minute, Medanitos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Desiderio Manilan to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, Cancún FC's Cipriano Goren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonel Savion narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 14th minute, Desiderio Manilan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 16th minute, Pastor Inguma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cipriano Goren in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonel Savion prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18thth minute of the game Cipriano Goren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Medanitos's Leonel Savion was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Flavio Baldovino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Goito in the 19th minute of play. The Cancún FC fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Cancún FC's Cipriano Goren looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cipriano Goren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Savion having to interfere. Cancún FC's Cipriano Goren got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 36th minute, Victor Mannuel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Enrique Goito struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Flavio Baldovino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Medanitos. Cancún FC's Flavio Baldovino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Goito in the 41st minute of play. In the 45thth minute of the game Cipriano Goren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Medanitos's Leonel Savion was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Medanitos getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Simon Tirso hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cipriano Goren was the one to do the kick off. After 51 minutes of play, Medanitos's Julio Firmin made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flavio Baldovino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Medanitos's Leonel Savion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Goren in the 57th minute of play. When Cancún FC's Cipriano Goren in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Medanitos's goalie prevented a goal. 64 minutes into the match, Cancún FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Firmin came free, but Flavio Baldovino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Cancún FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Cipriano Goren's late challenge caught a Medanitos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cipriano Goren helped the player get up and apologised. Cipriano Goren kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Cancún FC's goalkeeper Flavio Baldovino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enrique Goito. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Goren in the 85th minute of play forced Medanitos's goalkeeper Leonel Savion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Cancún FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Humberto Teofilio hit a great ball.
