Spectators: 7198 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Saverio Cordarrel kicked off to start the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ariel Araoz in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg German Teodor saved Iglesia from getting behind. After having played for 5 minutes, Ariel Araoz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Torres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ariel Araoz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. German Teodor made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Leon Bermudo sent off a good shot on target. Freddy Artaldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epifanio Clis in the 13th minute of play. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Torres's goalkeeper Freddy Artaldo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Freddy Artaldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Epifanio Clis in the 18th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saverio Cordarrel in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Freddy Artaldo saved Torres from getting behind. After 22 minutes, Maximo Fanuco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Torres and the Iglesia players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Ariel Araoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Torres's Maximo Fanuco got his second yellow card of the match in the 26th minute. The referee ordered Maximo Fanuco off the ground. The supporters of Iglesia booed when Torres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximo Fanuco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saverio Cordarrel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st match minute, Iglesia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalmacio Aguirre to maneuver through the defense. Freddy Artaldo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saverio Cordarrel's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. 39 minutes into the game, Saverio Cordarrel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Freddy Artaldo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ricardo Confesor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Torres's Freddy Artaldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Epifanio Clis in the 44th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leon Bermudo to make the kick off. Epifanio Clis came free with the goalkeeper in the 55th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Freddy Artaldo could save by the left post. In the 56th minute, Epifanio Clis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Torres's Freddy Artaldo got control of the ball when Epifanio Clis tried to sneak it across the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Torres's goal looked a bit too open when Saverio Cordarrel came free, but Freddy Artaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Domingos Pirmin hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Leon Bermudo scored 1-1 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of German Teodor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Saverio Cordarrel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 71 minutes, Amador Ofelio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Iglesia and the Torres players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 71st match minute, Iglesia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amador Ofelio to maneuver through the defense. Ricardo Confesor's late challenge caught a Torres's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Saverio Cordarrel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Iglesia's supporters rose to their feet, but Saverio Cordarrel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Freddy Artaldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Freddy Artaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saverio Cordarrel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Torres's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
