Rigoberto Cerilo's late challenge caught a Bacardi AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Feliberto Marin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Feliberto Marin was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Primitivo Domenec capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Primitivo Domenec really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Primitivo Domenec was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 95th minute. Avellaneda's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Primitivo Domenec in the 99th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Feliberto Marin saved Bacardi AFC from getting behind. When the match was over Avellaneda could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bacardi AFC throughout the match.
