Fermin Hanot scored 2-0 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of German Teodor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Elpidio Amato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epifanio Clis in the 28th minute of play. Silverio Mosen might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over German Teodor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silverio Mosen ran back to his position shaking his head. German Teodor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalmacio Jaunti, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Dalmacio Jaunti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. German Teodor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. German Teodor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalmacio Jaunti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Saverio Cordarrel to make the kick off. Iglesia's German Teodor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fermin Hanot in the 75th minute of play. German Teodor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalmacio Jaunti in the 76th minute of the match. Fermin Hanot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without German Teodor having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Fermin Hanot ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. German Teodor was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. If Dalmacio Jaunti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fermin Hanot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 93 minutes into the match, Iglesia's goal looked a bit too open when Fermin Hanot came free, but German Teodor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
