Victor Mannuel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luis Teodor having to make a save. Cipriano Goren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Luis Teodor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 20 minutes, Alfredo Urtzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cancún FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Urtzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Cipriano Goren sped through Pelados FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luis Teodor. Omar Aguirre could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Flavio Baldovino made a huge save. After 37 minutes, Desiderio Quinton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pelados FC and the Cancún FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pelados FC's Desiderio Quinton got a free kick in the 37th minute. Desiderio Quinton kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. The supporters of Cancún FC booed when Pelados FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omar Aguirre didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Cipriano Goren put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Luis Teodor. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Cipriano Goren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 55 minutes, Cipriano Goren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Cancún FC's Cipriano Goren slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luis Teodor. That made the score 2-4 after 64 minutes of play. In the 69th minute, Omar Aguirre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Victor Mannuel came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Cancún FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Mannuel couldn't finish the play. Luis Teodor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Goren in the 80th minute of the match. In the 87th minute of the match Igor Garikoitz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Flavio Baldovino skillfully saved the ball. In the 89th minute Cipriano Goren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Teodor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Teo Mede fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cancún FC's protests and gave Teo Mede a yellow card for diving instead. After 89 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cancún FC! In the 92nd minute there was a penalty for Pelados FC. Cornelio Loco stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Flavio Baldovino. 3-4. After 94 played minutes Cancún FC got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Goren. 96 minutes into the match, Pelados FC's goalkeeper Luis Teodor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cipriano Goren. Flavio Baldovino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Aguirre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luis Teodor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Goren in the 99th minute of the match. Cancún FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
