After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Valentin Garci managed to get in a good position for a shot. After a defensive mix-up in Taringa FC's zone, Leopoldo Bernebe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aldo Elixio came out of the goal and Leopoldo Bernebe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lorenzo Abecia hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Boca's Leopoldo Bernebe got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22nd minute, Leopoldo Bernebe made a precise shot to the right of Aldo Elixio. Taringa FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Vicente Balasi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Taringa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vicente Balasi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauro Quin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Boca's Mauro Quin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Balasi in the 27th minute of play. If Leopoldo Bernebe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Constantino Nesor struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Aldo Elixio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boca. Leopoldo Bernebe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Elixio having to interfere. Leopoldo Bernebe who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Aldo Elixio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Constantino Nesor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Elixio having to interfere. Taringa FC's Aldo Elixio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Taringa FC from getting a goal against them. Miguel Maurin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aldo Elixio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valentin Garci stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leopoldo Bernebe took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aldo Elixio. Aldo Elixio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Lino Tiniebra charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lino Tiniebra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 57 played minutes Boca got a freekick which was hit by Lino Tiniebra. Niceto Clis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Mauro Quin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 66 played minutes Taringa FC got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Garci. Leopoldo Bernebe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aldo Elixio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Leopoldo Bernebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Leopoldo Bernebe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aldo Elixio was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game.
