The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Silvestre Marquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Silvestre Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot. CCB FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvestre Marquez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anacleto Daunte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvestre Marquez in the 11th minute of play forced Rankanow's goalkeeper Anacleto Daunte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CCB FC's Honorio Balasi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save CCB FC from getting a goal against them. In the 15th minute, Rankanow's Fermin Claude dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 17th minute, Santos Gilesindo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Edgardo Sindo fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rankanow's protests and gave Edgardo Sindo a yellow card for diving instead. Edgardo Sindo kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Anacleto Daunte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Blas Gorbea went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Silvestre Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anacleto Daunte having to interfere. In the 47th minute of the game Severino Ferrando made a throw-in which Alonzo Endura played forward. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Victoriano Niguel to strike the kick off in the second half. Efrain Lluques's late challenge caught a Rankanow's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Efrain Lluques helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Rankanow booed when CCB FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Lluques didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, CCB FC's Patricio Boniel got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Aquilino Cruz scored 2-1 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Honorio Balasi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. CCB FC's Patricio Boniel quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ermegildo Iratze, made in the 68th minute of the game. If Silvestre Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honorio Balasi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquilino Cruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to CCB FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Nicasio Fidele hit a great ball. Honorio Balasi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victoriano Niguel in the 78th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Blas Gorbea got free with Anacleto Daunte in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 82nd match minute, CCB FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Gilesindo to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute, Silvestre Marquez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Silvestre Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
