Spectators: 7052 (Terracing: 5452, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Blas Toli kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd match minute, Coronel Aguirre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andres Erasto to maneuver through the defense. Rolando Errapel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rolando Errapel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Guillelmus having to interfere. Rolando Errapel might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomás Guillelmus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rolando Errapel ran back to his position shaking his head. Blas Toli was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 14th minute. Coronel Aguirre's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 15 minutes, Leonardo Mambru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Salto AFC and the Coronel Aguirre players grew even worse after the yellow card. Leonardo Mambru kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Tomás Guillelmus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Errapel, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Arsenio Gergori hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Blas Toli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Lázaro Llope tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Coronel Aguirre's Blas Toli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lázaro Llope narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cipriano Franco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, Coronel Aguirre's Blas Toli ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lázaro Llope. Lázaro Llope yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 35th minute, Romulo Abascal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arsenio Gergori came free with the goalkeeper in the 36th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lázaro Llope could save by the left post. When Arnoldo Txomin fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Coronel Aguirre's protests and gave Arnoldo Txomin a yellow card for diving instead. Arnoldo Txomin hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Rolando Errapel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Salto AFC's goalkeeper Lázaro Llope, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 47 played minutes Coronel Aguirre got a freekick which was hit by Roque Gombal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cipriano Franco to make the kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Arsenio Gergori managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coronel Aguirre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arsenio Gergori was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lázaro Llope showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blas Toli in the 58th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute Blas Toli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Llope saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Salto AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Arsenio Gergori came free, but Lázaro Llope reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Arsenio Gergori managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coronel Aguirre's supporters rose to their feet, but Arsenio Gergori was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lázaro Llope breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 70th play minutes Cipriano Franco shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Tomás Guillelmus and just under the crossbar into goal. Rolando Errapel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Tomás Guillelmus made a huge save. If Arsenio Gergori had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lázaro Llope stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Blas Toli's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. When Blas Toli, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 86 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Lázaro Llope was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Arsenio Gergori sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute Blas Toli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Llope saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
