The audience was convinced that Silvestre Marquez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Estevon was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Santos Gilesindo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 98th match minute, CCB FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Lluques to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched HRRG eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
