Modesto Elodio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Raebert in the 4th minute of play. Horacio Lapurdi kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Coronel Aguirre's Arsenio Gergori got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isaac Ramone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Guillelmus having to interfere. In the 41st minute Primitivo Hondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Guillelmus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arsenio Gergori got free with Modesto Elodio in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Blas Toli to strike the kick off in the second half. Amador Igon charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amador Igon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 51st minute, Amador Igon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 54 minutes into the game, one of Laharrague AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After some careless play in the Laharrague AFC defense, Arsenio Gergori kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Modesto Elodio. The Laharrague AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Modesto Elodio should have stopped the shot. Arsenio Gergori's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Modesto Elodio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Modesto Elodio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsenio Gergori in the 73rd minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Blas Toli notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Laharrague AFC's Modesto Elodio. Modesto Elodio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Coronel Aguirre's Andres Erasto got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Modesto Elodio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arsenio Gergori, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Arsenio Gergori came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Coronel Aguirre fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arsenio Gergori couldn't finish the play. In the 95th minute, Blas Toli made a precise shot to the right of Modesto Elodio. Laharrague AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Coronel Aguirre fans cheered their team off the field, for while Laharrague AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
