After having played for 12 minutes, Cipriano Franco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salto AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cipriano Franco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Luanco AFC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Maximiliano Mendiko hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, Benjamin Oriol had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lázaro Llope. Salto AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benjamin Oriol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Saul Serapio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Salto AFC's Cecilio Jurdan got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 30th match minute, Luanco AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximiliano Mendiko to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Luanco AFC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Maximiliano Mendiko hit a great ball. Cipriano Franco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jose Frichoso having to make a save. Cipriano Franco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Frichoso having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cipriano Franco was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 61 minutes, Saul Serapio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Luanco AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saul Serapio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jose Frichoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Errapel, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After 66 played minutes Salto AFC got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Bero. Cipriano Franco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Frichoso having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cipriano Franco in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jose Frichoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lázaro Llope made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Saul Serapio sent off a good shot on target. Jose Frichoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolando Errapel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saul Serapio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lázaro Llope having to interfere. Lázaro Llope showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Oriol, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 89th minute Cipriano Franco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Frichoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Cipriano Franco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salto AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cipriano Franco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jose Frichoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luanco AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
