Spectators: 7128 (Terracing: 5453, Seating: 1672, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vladimiro Remir kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute, Elpidio Florinio sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Saladillo's Santos Birila didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Bero in the 8th minute of play forced Saladillo's goalkeeper Santos Birila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Saladillo's zone, Fabio Orlan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santos Birila came out of the goal and Fabio Orlan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Santos Birila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Bero, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The audience was convinced that Fabio Orlan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Santos Birila was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Honorio Maura hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 24thth minute of the game Augusto Bero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Saladillo's Santos Birila was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vladimiro Remir in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adrian Sabino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Norberto Bernal who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Adrian Sabino when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Adrian Sabino came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Saladillo's Norberto Bernal. But to his dismay, Norberto Bernal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Norberto Bernal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Adrian Sabino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudio Opilano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santos Birila having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Fabio Orlan made the kick off in the second half. Augusto Bero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Santos Birila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. C.S.D. MAFALDA's Adrian Sabino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimiro Remir in the 61st minute of play. Augusto Bero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santos Birila having to interfere. Vladimiro Remir's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adrian Sabino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. A collision led to C.S.D. MAFALDA getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Claudio Opilano hit a great ball. A collision led to Saladillo getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Marcelino Avellaneda hit a great ball. C.S.D. MAFALDA's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
