Ramones's Enrique Bermund got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 8th match minute, Maciel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severiano Colas to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute, Santos Bihar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcial Misael recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Angelino Otoniel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernabe Rio having to make a save. Victorio Firman kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Angelino Otoniel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernabe Rio having to interfere. After 30 played minutes Maciel got a freekick which was hit by Elpidio Florinio. Santos Bihar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Chaime having to interfere. If Santos Bihar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Ramones were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Enrique Bermund made a kick off. Arnaldo Chaime made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Santos Bihar sent off a good shot on target. Angelino Otoniel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernabe Rio having to interfere. After having played for 60 minutes, Marcial Misael managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maciel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcial Misael was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnaldo Chaime made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santos Bihar in the 68th minute. In the 69thth minute of the game Enrique Bermund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maciel's Arnaldo Chaime was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Ramones booed when Maciel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severiano Colas didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Santos Bihar came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Ramones fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santos Bihar couldn't finish the play. Enrique Bermund might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnaldo Chaime. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enrique Bermund ran back to his position shaking his head. Victorio Firman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Chaime having to interfere. After 85 played minutes Enrique Bermund rounded Maciel's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-2. Enrique Bermund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnaldo Chaime read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. If Santos Bihar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Maciel's Arnaldo Chaime got control of the ball when Santos Bihar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Santos Bihar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Arnaldo Chaime tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Ramones left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Maciel.
