In the 11th minute, Fernan Osmundo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ildefonso Lehior kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Arsenal's Damian Oinatz got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 17th minute, one of C.A. Verdinegro SJ:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for C.A. Verdinegro SJ. Gualterio Bermund walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. The supporters of Arsenal booed when C.A. Verdinegro SJ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filomeno Irrintzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filomeno Irrintzi kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. C.A. Verdinegro SJ's Evelio Abeitia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Oinatz in the 25th minute of play. C.A. Verdinegro SJ's attack was well implemented in the 32nd minute, but when Marco Peter was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Fernan Osmundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Gogo Rodriguez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Damian Oinatz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Fernan Osmundo fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A. Verdinegro SJ's protests and gave Fernan Osmundo a yellow card for diving instead. When Arsenal's Damian Oinatz in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.A. Verdinegro SJ's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leon Domingues during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, C.A. Verdinegro SJ's Leon Domingues got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. Verdinegro SJ's zone, Ulises Castulo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evelio Abeitia came out of the goal and Ulises Castulo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A. Verdinegro SJ's goalkeeper Evelio Abeitia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to C.A. Verdinegro SJ getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Filomeno Irrintzi hit a great ball. When Ulises Castulo came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Arsenal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulises Castulo couldn't finish the play. Marco Peter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gogo Rodriguez having to interfere. 70 minutes into the game, Ulises Castulo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Evelio Abeitia. Ulises Castulo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Evelio Abeitia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Damian Oinatz in the 73rd minute. A collision led to C.A. Verdinegro SJ getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Marco Peter hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Damian Oinatz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arsenal's supporters rose to their feet, but Damian Oinatz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evelio Abeitia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Marco Peter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Marco Peter managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A. Verdinegro SJ's supporters rose to their feet, but Marco Peter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gogo Rodriguez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 94 minutes into the match, Fernan Osmundo notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Arsenal's Gogo Rodriguez. Gogo Rodriguez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The C.A. Verdinegro SJ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Arsenal had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
