Spectators: 7190 (Terracing: 5394, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ulises Castulo kicked off to start the match. After 3 played minutes, Arsenal's Gualterio Bermund shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Baldomero Haimar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Arsenal reached it. Saladillo AFC's Baldomero Haimar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Castulo in the 7th minute of play. 8 minutes into the game, Iker Domenec was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saladillo AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arsenal the free kick. In the 8th match minute, Saladillo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iker Domenec to maneuver through the defense. Teodoro Arnalt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gogo Rodriguez having to interfere. If Esteban Rodas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Teodoro Arnalt came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Saladillo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodoro Arnalt couldn't finish the play. Damian Oinatz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Haimar having to interfere. Esteban Rodas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gogo Rodriguez having to interfere. After 29 minutes, Angelo Firmin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arsenal and the Saladillo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Angelo Firmin kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute Esteban Rodas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gogo Rodriguez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gogo Rodriguez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teodoro Arnalt in the 38th minute. Teodoro Arnalt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Gogo Rodriguez made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teodoro Arnalt got free with Gogo Rodriguez in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Esteban Rodas to make the kick off. Gogo Rodriguez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteban Rodas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teodoro Arnalt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Teodoro Arnalt came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Saladillo AFC fans jumped to their feet. Teodoro Arnalt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gogo Rodriguez having to interfere. In the 72nd minute of the match Vladimiro Libertad sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gogo Rodriguez skillfully saved the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Esteban Rodas in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gogo Rodriguez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Damian Oinatz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Arsenal's zone, Esteban Rodas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gogo Rodriguez came out of the goal and Esteban Rodas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th match minute, Arsenal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ildefonso Lehior to maneuver through the defense. Teodoro Arnalt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
