If Marco Peter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnaldo Chaime showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Peter in the 20th minute of the match. Evelio Abeitia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcial Misael, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Marcial Misael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evelio Abeitia having to interfere. 37 minutes in the game, Marco Peter fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Arnaldo Chaime having to interfere. In the 39th minute Angelino Otoniel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evelio Abeitia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Maciel getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Andres Duarte hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Geronimo Karmel during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 43 played minutes C.A. Verdinegro SJ got a freekick which was hit by Geronimo Karmel. Evelio Abeitia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcial Misael in the 48th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marco Peter made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Geronimo Karmel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by C.A. Verdinegro SJ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Patricio Markel was slow to take the kick. During this time Maciel's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Maciel's corner Patricio Markel fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Evelio Abeitia quite easily take care of the ball. Marco Peter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Arnaldo Chaime tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angelino Otoniel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evelio Abeitia having to interfere. C.A. Verdinegro SJ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maciel the free kick. In the 69th match minute, C.A. Verdinegro SJ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filomeno Irrintzi to maneuver through the defense.
