Guachos de Jantin CF's Severo Dimas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernan Osmundo in the 7th minute of play. Hector Rioja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Evelio Abeitia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Filomeno Irrintzi fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A. Verdinegro SJ's protests and gave Filomeno Irrintzi a yellow card for diving instead. Filomeno Irrintzi kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Braulio Kusko sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and C.A. Verdinegro SJ's Evelio Abeitia didn't even have to move. After 17 minutes, Eulalio Mingo made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. C.A. Verdinegro SJ's Evelio Abeitia tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Eulalio Mingo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 21st minute. Guachos de Jantin CF's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Guachos de Jantin CF's Hector Rioja got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hector Rioja's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Evelio Abeitia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Severo Dimas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Peter in the 33rd minute of the match. Everardo Estebano hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Fernan Osmundo might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Severo Dimas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernan Osmundo ran back to his position shaking his head. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hector Rioja made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gervasio Pere during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 53rd minute, Gervasio Pere hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 54 played minutes C.A. Verdinegro SJ got a freekick which was hit by Marco Peter. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Hector Rioja managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guachos de Jantin CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Hector Rioja was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evelio Abeitia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Evelio Abeitia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Orti, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Fernan Osmundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Severo Dimas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Peter in the 72nd minute of play. When Geronimo Karmel fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A. Verdinegro SJ's protests and gave Geronimo Karmel a yellow card for diving instead. After 78 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for C.A. Verdinegro SJ! Braulio Kusko shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Fernan Osmundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th match minute, Guachos de Jantin CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gervasio Pere to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Guachos de Jantin CF's Severo Dimas got control of the ball when Fernan Osmundo tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Hector Rioja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guachos de Jantin CF were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
