After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Florencio Tartalo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chacarita FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Florencio Tartalo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ezequiel Oskarbi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Florencio Tartalo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Higinio Guter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Oskarbi having to interfere. Florencio Tartalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Florencio Tartalo made the kick off in the second half. Chacarita FC's Florencio Tartalo got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 54 minutes into the game, Chacarita FC's Florencio Tartalo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ezequiel Oskarbi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Ezequiel Oskarbi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesar Nardo in the 58th minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, Higinio Guter cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Ezequiel Oskarbi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 69th minute, Ranquile AFC's Alberto Mede dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. Ezequiel Oskarbi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florencio Tartalo, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. When Cesar Nardo came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Chacarita FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cesar Nardo couldn't finish the play. Ezequiel Oskarbi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florencio Tartalo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the match, Chacarita FC's Higinio Guter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ezequiel Oskarbi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fulgencio Leobardo got free with Hernan Dorio in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
