If Felipe Cordaryal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 11 minutes into the match, ßoca Ĵrs's goal looked a bit too open when Filomeno Ourente came free, but Fernan Arias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute Filomeno Ourente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernan Arias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Maureo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Cordaryal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filomeno Ourente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Virgilio Berto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Fernan Arias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Club Recreativo San Jorge's zone, Felipe Cordaryal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Maureo came out of the goal and Felipe Cordaryal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Club Recreativo San Jorge's Marcos Maureo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Caetano in the 22nd minute of play. If Felipe Cordaryal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elias Caetano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Marcos Maureo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Cordaryal in the 32nd minute of play forced Club Recreativo San Jorge's goalkeeper Marcos Maureo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernan Arias made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Virgilio Berto sent off a good shot on target. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felipe Cordaryal to make the kick off. Marcos Maureo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Felipe Cordaryal showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 54 minute of play. Virgilio Berto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernan Arias having to interfere. When Elias Caetano, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 77 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Marcos Maureo was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 79th minute, Felipe Cordaryal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 84th minute, Elias Caetano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fernan Arias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filomeno Ourente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
