In the 42nd minute, Leandro Gonchan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alberto Mede made a kick off. Fulgencio Leobardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernabe Estevez having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Fulgencio Leobardo notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Diablos Rojos's Bernabe Estevez. Bernabe Estevez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bernabe Estevez came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Ranquile AFC's Alberto Mede. But to his dismay, Alberto Mede quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After 90 minutes, Silvano Lapurdi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Diablos Rojos and the Ranquile AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Silvano Lapurdi hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 92nd match minute, Ranquile AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafin Dolfos to maneuver through the defense. Alberto Mede recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
