Sadop FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Sadop FC's zone, Feliciano Inge stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damian Rodriguez came out of the goal and Feliciano Inge tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 16 minutes into the game, Manantiales's Ulises Jobo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Damian Rodriguez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Fernan Berdaitz's late challenge caught a Sadop FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernan Berdaitz helped the player get up and apologised. Fernan Berdaitz hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After 22 minutes, Fausto Gonzales mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manantiales and the Sadop FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Feliciano Inge's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damian Rodriguez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Feliciano Inge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Rodriguez having to interfere. Sadop FC's Damian Rodriguez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Jobo in the 82nd minute of play. In the 87th minute, Ulises Jobo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Damian Rodriguez, passed just outside the right post. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Manantiales had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
