The audience thought a goal was coming when Ismael Gitano got free with Damian Rodriguez in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Felipe Cordaryal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of ßoca Ĵrs booed when Sadop FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Tulio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernan Arias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavino Cordeiro in the 17th minute of play. After having played for 21 minutes, Gavino Cordeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sadop FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gavino Cordeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to ßoca Ĵrs getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Juan Erdiano hit a great ball. If Aurelio Dominguez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gavino Cordeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elias Caetano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 40 minutes into the game, Lisandro Gaskon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sadop FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ßoca Ĵrs the free kick. A collision led to Sadop FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Lisandro Gaskon hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sadop FC's zone, Felipe Cordaryal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damian Rodriguez came out of the goal and Felipe Cordaryal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Damian Rodriguez was a little too slow when Felipe Cordaryal got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felipe Cordaryal to make the kick off. Armando Montrelle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernan Arias having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Elias Caetano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Damian Rodriguez. Sadop FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elias Caetano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. When Elias Caetano came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the ßoca Ĵrs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elias Caetano couldn't finish the play. Gavino Cordeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Fernan Arias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 77 minutes, Elias Caetano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ßoca Ĵrs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elias Caetano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Damian Rodriguez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Cordaryal, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 80 minutes into the match, ßoca Ĵrs's Elias Caetano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damian Rodriguez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gavino Cordeiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fernan Arias having to make a save. Elias Caetano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Damian Rodriguez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armando Montrelle kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match.
