In the 16th minute, Leopoldo Beat reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Javier Celino. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 21st minute, Carolo Macerio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Belgrano booed when Ciclón FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inocencio Olo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leopoldo Beat in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Javier Celino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Javier Celino was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Leopoldo Beat showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 31 minute of play. Higinio Iraitz came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Ciclón FC's Inocencio Olo. But to his dismay, Inocencio Olo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leone Messi to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Inocencio Olo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anacleto Chico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Inocencio Olo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Iraitz having to interfere. The supporters of Ciclón FC booed when Belgrano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauricio Weterio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciclón FC's attentive Gabriel Dantae managed to snatch the ball when Joel Berbiz made a throw-in in the 60th minute of the game. Higinio Iraitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Dantae in the 61st minute of play. Higinio Iraitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inocencio Olo, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 63 minutes in the game, Anacleto Chico fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Higinio Iraitz having to interfere. After having played for 66 minutes, Inocencio Olo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ciclón FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inocencio Olo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Javier Celino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carolo Macerio in the 73rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Inocencio Olo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ciclón FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Inocencio Olo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Higinio Iraitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Inocencio Olo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Higinio Iraitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciclón FC's Inocencio Olo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Joel Berbiz, made in the 87th minute of the game. In the 89th minute Filiberto Llorian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Celino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Dantae sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Inocencio Olo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Inocencio Olo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Higinio Iraitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Belgrano were victorious despite being under pressure from Ciclón FC for much of the match.
