The audience was convinced that Roberto Iraitz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Danilo Heli was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Danilo Heli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Benet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Silviano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejandro Luke having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Chacota FC's zone, Daniel Silviano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alejandro Luke came out of the goal and Daniel Silviano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Rodrigo Vermudo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club del Este's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodrigo Vermudo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alejandro Luke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alejandro Luke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Silviano in the 32nd minute of play. Daniel Silviano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejandro Luke having to interfere. Paulo Benet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Danilo Heli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Angelo Burutzagi came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Chacota FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelo Burutzagi couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Silviano made a kick off. Roberto Iraitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Iraitz in the 64th minute of play forced Club del Este's goalkeeper Danilo Heli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Rodrigo Vermudo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the match, Club del Este's Daniel Silviano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alejandro Luke narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 80 played minutes Chacota FC got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Txeru. After having played for 92 minutes, Gaston Domeka managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club del Este's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaston Domeka was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodrigo Vermudo in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alejandro Luke prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 98th minute Rodrigo Vermudo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejandro Luke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club del Este's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
