An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Eliazar in the 10th minute of play forced Vilgo's goalkeeper Pascual Ruy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonatan Lehen hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After 19th play minutes Salvador Eliazar shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Pascual Ruy and just under the crossbar into goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Rodrigo Abaunza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vilgo's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodrigo Abaunza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Frasco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 30th minute, Luisito Eron fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Vilgo's Pascual Ruy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Lonzo in the 41st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Chinguillos's zone, Rodrigo Abaunza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Frasco came out of the goal and Rodrigo Abaunza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Chinguillos's Nunez Jaizki got a free kick in the 45th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Chinguillos's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Abaunza came free, but Daniel Frasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Chinguillos were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Salvador Eliazar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vilgo's Luisito Eron got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rodrigo Abaunza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Chinguillos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vilgo the free kick. Daniel Frasco had in the 63rdth minute some difficulties stopping Aquiles Mercurio's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. A collision led to Chinguillos getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Nunez Jaizki hit a great ball. In the 79th minute of the match Aquiles Mercurio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Daniel Frasco showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Jonatan Lehen fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chinguillos's protests and gave Jonatan Lehen a yellow card for diving instead. Jonatan Lehen kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Luisito Eron came free in the 85th minute and tried to tip the ball over Daniel Frasco, but to the joy of Chinguillos's supporters the ball went over. The supporters of Chinguillos booed when Vilgo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Ur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luisito Eron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Frasco having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
