In the 18th minute, Salvador Eliazar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fausto Selmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvador Eliazar in the 22nd minute of play. If Salvador Eliazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Ulises Lonzo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fausto Selmo was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Salvador Eliazar in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fausto Selmo saved mameluco from getting behind. Jeronimo Primo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Daniel Frasco made a huge save. If Bonifacio Eli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulises Lonzo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fausto Selmo having to make a save. 44 minutes into the match, Salvador Eliazar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fausto Selmo. mameluco's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Salvador Eliazar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bonifacio Eli to make the kick off. Bonifacio Eli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Frasco having to interfere. Jeronimo Primo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the match, mameluco's Jeronimo Primo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniel Frasco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 62nd match minute, Chinguillos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonatan Lehen to maneuver through the defense. The referee ignored mameluco's protests and gave Teodoro Estevon a yellow card for diving instead. After 73 played minutes mameluco got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Estevon. Ulises Lonzo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fausto Selmo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Chinguillos's Salvador Eliazar in the 82nd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Fausto Selmo was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for mameluco through an amazing save. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 83rd minute of the game. One of Chinguillos:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of mameluco:s goal. In the 85th minute there was a penalty for mameluco. Patricio Bakar stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Daniel Frasco. 1-1. Ulises Lonzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Selmo having to interfere. After 97 played minutes mameluco got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Florin. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
