Higinio Fagildo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Raimundo Sayvion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Flavio Cordearo in the 14th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by IVFC's Abelardo Montes. Tomas Urdaspal charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomas Urdaspal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 24 minutes into the game, Evaristo Gartzea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Patricio Rey's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave IVFC the free kick. If Abelardo Montes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardo Primo kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. 44 minutes into the game, Higinio Fagildo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Raimundo Sayvion. Higinio Fagildo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Raimundo Sayvion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Primo in the 51st minute of play. The supporters of IVFC booed when Patricio Rey was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gualterio Eate didn't get a good kick on the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Gualterio Eate in the 59th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by IVFC's Tomas Urdaspal. In the 62nd match minute, IVFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Modestio to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Patricio Rey booed when IVFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Urdaspal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th match minute, IVFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Modestio to maneuver through the defense. Raimundo Sayvion came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by IVFC's Abelardo Montes. But to his dismay, Abelardo Montes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 82 minutes into the match, Patricio Rey's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Primo came free, but Raimundo Sayvion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, IVFC's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Cordearo came free, but Osvaldo Donio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 88 played minutes IVFC got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Urdaspal. Tomas Urdaspal, 96 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. IVFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
