After a rather tough play, Gregorio's Mateo Haitz got a free kick in the 20th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Chaschuil's Elias Hermelando broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Cristo Ortle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Eustaquio Mincho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Fagondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lino Fagondo in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eustaquio Mincho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half Gregorio were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gerardo Favila was the one to do the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Eustaquio Mincho successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Constantino Polentzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Favila in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute Gerardo Favila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantino Polentzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gregorio's goalkeeper Constantino Polentzi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Ramiro Cordarryl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gregorio's supporters rose to their feet, but Mateo Haitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eustaquio Mincho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
