Spectators: 7014 (Terracing: 5389, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 50) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Baldomiro Cordarrell took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of JPFC booed when barcelona fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicasio Acosta didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute Elvio Alfonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Salbatore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Polentzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. JPFC's Ismael Mitxaut got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When barcelona fc's Marcos Polentzi in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye JPFC's goalie prevented a goal. JPFC's Vladimiro Salbatore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvio Alfonso in the 17th minute of play. Donato Dolfo hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. If Marcos Polentzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Basilio Fernandes's late challenge caught a barcelona fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ismael Mitxaut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Hunfredo having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elvio Alfonso was the one to do the kick off. Modesto Hunfredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Tome, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Donato Dolfo fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored JPFC's protests and gave Donato Dolfo a yellow card for diving instead. 59 minutes into the game, one of JPFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 64 minutes, Ceferino Ayala mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the JPFC and the barcelona fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 64 played minutes JPFC got a freekick which was hit by Ceferino Ayala. In the 68th minute, Nicasio Acosta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Modesto Hunfredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Jorrin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ismael Mitxaut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hilario Navarro during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ismael Mitxaut couldn't finish the play. Modesto Hunfredo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ismael Mitxaut's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Baldomiro Cordarrell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Modesto Hunfredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vladimiro Salbatore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvio Alfonso in the 100th minute of play.
