The Manquitos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 19th match minute, Hersilia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Saturnin to maneuver through the defense. Miguel Ferrando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Baldomero Cebrian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manquitos's Miguel Ferrando got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jeremias Colon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Machado Alamon came out and tried to block the shot, but Jeremias Colon slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 25th minute. If Godofredo Chale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Baldomero Cebrian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godofredo Chale, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. If Miguel Ferrando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 38 minutes of play, Manquitos's Godofredo Chale made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baldomero Cebrian was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gerardo Blasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Cebrian having to interfere. If Urbano Montes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miguel Ferrando was the one to do the kick off. Miguel Ferrando was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 53rd minute. Manquitos's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 55th minute, Manquitos's Godofredo Chale ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Baldomero Cebrian. Baldomero Cebrian yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. In the 62nd minute of the game Roman Pueblo made a throw-in which Donato Harriet played forward. With a little luck, Hersilia's Baldomero Cebrian got control of the ball when Miguel Ferrando tried to sneak it across the goal line. Machado Alamon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Harriet in the 68th minute of play. Miguel Ferrando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Baldomero Cebrian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manquitos's Machado Alamon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Colon in the 72nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Hersilia defense, Miguel Ferrando kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baldomero Cebrian. The Hersilia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baldomero Cebrian should have stopped the shot. Miguel Ferrando succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-6 in the 81st playminute. After 86 played minutes Hersilia got a freekick which was hit by Robustiano Precioso. 89 minutes into the match, Hersilia's goal looked a bit too open when Urbano Montes came free, but Baldomero Cebrian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baldomero Cebrian was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Gerardo Blasco capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gerardo Blasco really showed his touch with that goal: 1-7. When the final whistle sounded Manquitos left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Hersilia.
