Leandro Menendo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristo Ortle in the 9th minute of play. Braulio Chuan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Eustaquio Mincho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th match minute, Chaschuil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Hermelando to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the game, Domingos Mendiko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Eustaquio Mincho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Chaschuil getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Tiburcio Asteri hit a great ball. Eustaquio Mincho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Braulio Chuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ibáñez's Leandro Menendo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristo Ortle in the 27th minute of play. Ezequiel Etxepare received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Eustaquio Mincho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Braulio Chuan in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eustaquio Mincho saved Chaschuil from getting behind. 42 minutes into the match, Ibáñez's goal looked a bit too open when Cristo Ortle came free, but Leandro Menendo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Domingos Mendiko kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. When Ibáñez's Domingos Mendiko in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chaschuil's goalie prevented a goal. After the first half Ibáñez were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Carlos Bakar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Chaschuil's zone, Ezequiel Etxepare stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eustaquio Mincho came out of the goal and Ezequiel Etxepare tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Braulio Chuan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustaquio Mincho having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Chaschuil's Cristo Ortle got a free kick in the 69th minute. If Braulio Chuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristo Ortle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Menendo having to interfere. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Chaschuil's goalkeeper Eustaquio Mincho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, Braulio Chuan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eustaquio Mincho. Chaschuil's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Braulio Chuan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Braulio Chuan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ibáñez's supporters rose to their feet, but Braulio Chuan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eustaquio Mincho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ibáñez played a much better game than Chaschuil and deserved their victory. The Chaschuil players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
