The audience thought a goal was coming when Saturnino Vedillo got free with Evaristo Gergori in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Omar Ermengol charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Omar Ermengol the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of M.A. Reinicio booed when Pelota De Trapo F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omar Ermengol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evaristo Gergori made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saturnino Vedillo in the 13th minute. A collision led to Pelota De Trapo F.C. getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Lucas Elequemedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Timoteo Felo in the 70th minute. In the 81st minute, Timoteo Felo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evaristo Gergori stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saturnino Vedillo's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. 82 minutes into the game, Pastor Galsino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pelota De Trapo F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave M.A. Reinicio the free kick. Pastor Galsino hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Pelota De Trapo F.C.'s Evaristo Gergori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Betadur in the 87th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saturnino Vedillo in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Evaristo Gergori prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Despite being the better team, M.A. Reinicio failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
