The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafael Guilabertus got free with Fidel Mendebal in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Minacar's Fidel Mendebal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Dolcet in the 17th minute of play. Braulio Basualdo kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Flavio Dolcet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Mendebal having to interfere. Remigio Quintyn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Monico in the 26th minute of play. Jimeno Colas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Caranchos de Adrogue FC's Cipriano Jon got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Jimeno Colas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Remigio Quintyn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Flavio Dolcet made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Minacar's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Guilabertus came free, but Fidel Mendebal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafael Guilabertus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Fidel Mendebal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Jimeno Colas fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Minacar's Fidel Mendebal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Guilabertus in the 65th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Caranchos de Adrogue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Colas came free, but Remigio Quintyn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by Caranchos de Adrogue FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Faustino Florian was slow to take the kick. During this time Minacar's players had a chance to rest. Rafael Guilabertus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Flavio Dolcet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fidel Mendebal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Dolcet in the 77th minute of play. Braulio Basualdo hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimeno Colas in the 80th minute of play forced Caranchos de Adrogue FC's goalkeeper Remigio Quintyn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 82 played minutes Minacar got a freekick which was hit by Florencio Monico. Fidel Mendebal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Guilabertus, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jimeno Colas in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Remigio Quintyn saved Caranchos de Adrogue FC from getting behind. Hector Gorri hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
