After 45 minutes of play, Pico y Pala's Angel Pirro made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ezequiel Isadore was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ciro Victoro was the one to do the kick off. Ciro Victoro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Mateo having to interfere. If Gregorio Maurino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 63 minutes, Segundo Calvet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pico y Pala and the CLORINDA FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pico y Pala's Segundo Calvet got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Pico y Pala's Luisito Mateo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Victoro in the 78th minute of play. Nemesio Quin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Tiburcio Rocendo fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CLORINDA FC's protests and gave Tiburcio Rocendo a yellow card for diving instead. Baltasar Omero was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 87th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Pico y Pala's Gregorio Maurino slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ezequiel Isadore. That made the score 1-4 after 89 minutes of play. Angel Pirro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Ezequiel Isadore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pico y Pala played a much better game than CLORINDA FC and deserved their victory. The CLORINDA FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
